The views are great as well. I will definitely stay there again.
Exceptionally clean, quiet, and cozy. Good price. Owned and operated by a Polish family. The clerk was very helpful, and she even went out of her way to locate a crisp ten dollar bill that I needed for a vending machine.
Continental breakfast is available in a pleasant breakfast room. A nice variety of healthy cereals and unexpected toppings (granola, flax seed, etc.) is provided along with oatmeal, fruit, danishes, bagels, muffins, and toast.
We were referred to the Park View by a local business person. It was the best place we stayed the whole trip. The room was spotless and very quiet. Irmina (I think) was the best. She made good conversation made sure we were taken care of.
Great little "motor inn" walking distance to historic Main Street and the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and overlooking a park and mountains beyond. Our room was clean and well kept, and it seemed to have been renovated not long ago. All this for a very reasonable price.
Very reasonable price during season! Closer than most motels to the Royal Gorge. The breakfast is your typical free continental breakfast and I thought was decent considering it is complimentary. The rooms are old school key entry. Ours had a piece of duct tape over the bolt lock which we thought was funny. Room was clean and nice. For the money, I think this is a great place to stay and would do so again.
This is an older roadside motel that is in very good condition and kept very clean. The bathroom was recently remodeled and was very nice. The breakfast area is also very nice. The breakfast food was limited but good. The only thing negative was the awful coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
