The hotel was right off the highway so very easy access. The staff was prompt and very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean despite a few stains on the floor, it included a microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The beds were pretty comfortable, and bedding was clean. The pool was well taken care of, and not overloaded with chlorine. I would recommend this hotel in Canon City for the price and convenience.
I was alittle concerned at first with this being a economical motel and My family and I always stay at higher end motels always but i will never second guess any Econo Lodge ever again the staff was friendly and accommodating to our every need. The room was exceptionally clean from the first to the last day of our stay and the pool and hottub was great and very clean. The breakfast was a great lay out and meet the needs of our family. All housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile asking how are day has been our stay and if we needed any extra supplies or cleaning work in the room. This hotel goes above and beyond try it you will love it!!!!
But a decent free breakfast doesn't save the day. I would probably seek different lodging next time I'm in Cañon City.
Breakfast was actually the best part of this place. I don't expect much from most economy motels' breakfast, but this one was okay.
Room was comfortable, price was great, Continental Breakfast was yummy with a lot of options. Great location, nice place.
We had a diverse group of 20 people from seniors requiring wheelchair access all the way down to an infant in a stroller. Mallory/front desk accommodated all of us. From extra towels, roll away beds, cribs, even extra space for a birthday party...She did it all!

Wow! What an improvement from 2 years ago. The indoor pool is clean and the air is not heavy with chlorine. The hot tub was clean and a comfortable temperature. Our room, though small, had a comfortable king size bed and large smart screen TV. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot were clean and in excellent condition. The AC/heat unit wasn't overly noisy and worked well. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower. The decor was a bit dated but we were here to visit our kids not live in luxury. We have 2 small dogs so to find a clean motel that allows dogs and doesn't charge $200/night plus pet fee isn't easy. This is way better than the Best Western or Hampton Inn. The staff is incredible and I hear that the owners actually stay on site and work some of the shifts. They're hands on. We come to town often and will definitely be back.

The hot tub was more like a tepid tub. I'd barely call it warm.
Okay, this one was was a bit rough. Our bed spread was stained, and one of the pillows was actually wet. I don't know with what, but I was pretty grossed put. Housekeeping immediately changed all the bedding and brought new pillows, and the maid was very apologetic.
The bed was made with only a thin bedspread though, and the lady at the front desk seemed annoyed and confused when we asked for a proper blanket, claiming no one usually wants one that time of year.
