Very nice staff! Facility is old and bathhouse was not extremely clean.

At this point, we asked for a refund and left. We literally spent almost 2 hours of our time dealing with this disaster of a campground. We will not be returning and I would urge campers to use caution if visiting this campground.

Planned activities for the kids, welcoming and CLEAN swimming pool, staff was A-MAZING, nothing bad to say about this place! All were very helpful and friendly. The slide was the biggest hit with our family, loved the night slide. It is close to the Royal Gorge.

They have this water conservation thing going on with the showers. You have to pull down on this chain continuously for water to come out of the shower head. After 1 to 2 minutes the circulation in your hand goes away. Way to go KOA. I'll conserve my money and go some place different next time.

We booked our reservation online for one of their newly renovated, premium spots. Our email confirmation promised immaculate landscaping, views of the bridge/gorge, and brand new full hookups.

Great stay. We weren't sure if there would be enough things to do for 5 days here, but we managed to fill each day with fun memories. KOA staff really is friendly, hard working and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned each day and water was warm. Men's showers I was told by my boys were difficult to use because you have to hold a string to keep water running. TIP: Tie the string around the shower head. Lots of fun things to do just at camp. Playground was well liked by my kids. We didn't do the giant slide because we saw how much work it was just to get momentum. But the price was reasonable because you could slide all day. Go carts and track were awesome fun. Pool was too cold to enjoy but we still saw plenty of people brave the cold. The Arkansas River was warmer than the pool. I hold back one star for pool being so cold. Sites are close together. Get the deluxe site if you want more room and a quieter environment. Hay ride was fun and you got some history of the place. Free smores were a treat. Missed movie night because it would have been too windy to see movie on a sheet blowing in the wind. Nice thought, though. Golf was free but in desperate need of maintenance. Still my family enjoyed it. Lots of area to walk our pet. Could see the Royal Gorge Bridge from deluxe camp sites and one night we could see fireworks from camp. That was a treat. Gift shop across the street was nice and reasonably priced plus super sweet owners. KOA is close drive to town and even closer drive to the Royal Gorge Park. Quiet. No train noise or other traffic noises. Would stay here again for sure.

Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a "glitch" in their computer system and told that we would be staying in one of their standard full hookup sites. We actually had one employee tell us that it was probably "user error" even though I had an email confirmation as proof of our promised site. Since all of their newly renovated sites were full, we had no choice but to accept the standard site.

After parking and getting the camper level (sites are close together and not level) we discovered that our neighbor had used our 50amp hookup. After speaking with a manager, we were given the option to move our camper to another 50amp spot...since our neighbors "already had all of their stuff set up for a day".

Worst experience at a campground to date.
