Our shake down trip for our new motor home. We decided to visit Prospectors Resort. A little confusing when we pulled in and no one was in the office. One of the staff asked us if he could help. He found our spot and told us they had to move us to another because a mix up on the one we had on our confirmation page. After that which was no big deal we had a blast. Had taken two of our grandchildren with us. They ran for the bouncy pillow within seconds of pulling to our spot. My husband set up and learn so much about how everything works. Then the rain came and cold wind. But did not dampen our fun. The kids enjoyed their WIFI that was great! Wanted to thank all the staff we ran across for being so helpful and kind to us on our first trip. Did not use any of the restrooms, showers etc. We had it all in our motor home. Thank You again Prospectors Park staff!!
Such an amazing experience, employees were very helpful and kind. We have 2 kiddos on the Autism spectrum and things like camping are not usually something we can do without feeling judged or unwelcomed. TOTALLY a new experience everyone was understanding & accepting and we look forward to camping here in the future!
Love this place! Cabins are simple and comfy, offer a variety of sizes to fit your needs, and are reasonably priced. Bathroom houses and play areas are clean and well maintained. Tent sites are spacious. Close enough to town, yet far enough away to feel out and away. Highly recommend!!
I'll give this 4 stars since it was our very first RV stay ever - and it wasn't bad. It wasn't super special either, but our first options were booked. Super nice staff and spacious spots. There is a disc golf course here, but it's VERY poorly marked. Still fun though. My one complaint is that there is refuse laying all over the outskirts of this RV park, It's like people come in with trailers of scrap metal, tires, used things, and dump it around the perimeter of the park . Strange.
We have been here for a couple of month's. The scenery here is probably the best anywhere in this area. The people here are very nice. The children play on the playground together. Nobody bothers anyone but they will offer help. If your looking for a peaceful safe place off the beaten path then this is a great place. If your a Medical Refugee you will be greated with open arm's.
