Canon City along with local mountain bike enthusiasts have worked hard to build a mountain bike trail system that is second to none. Oil Well Flats is currently the biggest trail system in the Canon City area, and has a reputation for being the place to go to when the rest of Colorado is snowed in. Trails have a varying degrees of difficulty from greens to some sections of blacks. Up to 15miles of trails if looped together with names like Tectonic shift, Anticline, Fire Canon, and Isle of the sky. Just Google Canon City mountain biking and you will find tons of information.
