Overall, great rafting trip. However, things did get off to a rocky start when we had to wait at their headquarters for over an hour after they asked us to arrive. Seems like there were some logistical/scheduling issues they weren't quite on top of. Once we were actually picked up and the rafting begun, we had a blast. Our guide was incredible and even though we were taking on class 4/5 rapids, it never felt dangerous. Would recommend.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The guides were personable, fun loving and down to earth. The rafting itself was awesome with a good mix of whitewater and slower spots. Highly reccomend for families looking for a good way to please everyone in the party.
Eleven of us went on the coldest day of the summer and Atticus and Jason took us for an exciting raft ride! Very friendly and they even had to save an overboarder! We had a great time!
Got off to a significantly delayed and frustrating start to our trip due to logistics and miscommunication issues by the front office staff. We were contacted by the office staff prior to our trip with an itinerary change due to high water. We were given verbal and written confirmation to show up at the Canon City office to begin our trip. We were told a shuttle bus was not available and we were given the wrong written directions to the correct drop off location. Our large group transported by our own bus ended up starting our full day trip two hours late. No apology from the front office staff.
The rafting conditions and river staff are top notch. Our group had a great time on the river which helped to put the long frustrating morning behind us.
The guides here took us in last minute after bad directions and gps caused us to miss our run with another company. With only an hour warning, they added our group to their session, waited an extra 10 minutes or so for us to get there and a tour guide offered to come instead of take his afternoon off, so we could go rafting. Our guide Zach was knowledgeable, safe and funny. We definitely learned a lot on this trip & would love to return!
