OMG, These women are amazing!! They were able to get us into a house of our dreams ticking pretty much every box we had. They bent over backwards and worked so hard to make sure all of our ducks were in a row and so that we had a delightful experience. Of course making everything seem so easy. It's been a year now since we've been here and it has been a joy every day.
The previous home owners never finished what was agreed too in the contract and Joann made it her duty to defend them. Funny how I am paying some one but they cant get off their chair to help me out.
JoAnn and her staff did an excellent job for us. They know every house in town (and know which properties are a good buy and which to avoid)
I even had issues with the previous home owners taking appliances out of the house that were suppose to come with the house. Home Town of course denied this. After days of trying to get a hold Joanne, she gave me a check made out to Lowe's but not in my name. As she said this was real estate fraud. How am I suppose to use another persons check at a retail store?
Joann made it a point to send employees to my house to keep me away from their business. Guess they don't want the truth spreading while having customers present.
Even sending their employees to my residence to insult my pregnant girlfriend (these two employees should feel real proud of themselves). Never received an apology for this incident just a promised call back that of course never happened. But instead the owner handed my case to another employee who had said she would make the situation right but she of course forgot all about it after two weeks and the end result nothing happened. Nothing was ever made right.
Over the years we have bought and sold several houses. Home Town is by far the best real estate company we have ever used.
I would not hesitate to use them again. Very Happy!!!!
We moved to Canon City in February of 2016. Joann and her team went out of their way to make our home purchase a good experience. They are professional and knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone planning to buy or sell property in canon City area.
Home town real estate business practices are extremely rude, deceiving, lengthy and odd. Home town real estate likes claiming they have never said that or don't remember saying that, or claiming you didn't see or hear that. Why would my eyes and ears deceive me?
I have felt the opposite of a customer with this business. Overall not a good experience. I'm forced to leave one star as you can't leave a lower score. For any future buyer please be aware of these issues, especially the veterans community!
