Beware of signing any sales agreement with these people - they have no respect whatsoever for anything they sign.
The broker I contracted with at Century 21 Canon Land left the firm. Now, they have assigned my listing to another broker who I have never met and who I have no desire to work with. I tried to get them to release my listing but they refuse, stating that the "firm owns the listing, not the broker." The signed contract I have clearly states otherwise. They are falsely misrepresenting me and holding my listing as hostage, forcing me to work with them.
I will tell everyone who asks me about our horrible experience here.
Before moving in, I also SPECIFICALLY ASKED them if there was a problem with pests. They assured me, and I quote, "We have NEVER had issues with pests at that location." Lois said it, and the office lady also heard him, and didn't say anything to contradict him. However, upon moving in, we soon find out the place is swarming with oriental cockroaches, spiders, and mice which we see running around all the time. I have photos and the exterminator bills to prove all of this. Oh, and the real kicker? The exterminator told us that with the irrigation ditch in the back yard, there probably has ALWAYS been cockroaches here, and he's sure the last tenants would have definitely known that. (By the way, I was told by Century 21 that the previous tenants had to break their lease... And now I definitely see why!)
So these people allowed my husband and I to move into a house with our BABY... KNOWING IT WAS INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES, and then LIED ABOUT IT! To my face!
I went in to pay my rent this month and told them about the pests, and Lois's immediate response was, "Its probably from that irrigation ditch in the back." I was shocked!
The people here are friendly. They helped my husband, son, and I move into a house in Cañon from Denver. (After it supposedly took 3 weeks for the old tenant to get out and for them to "clean") the place. I could only do a quick walk through when they were showing it because the tenant still lived here so there were MANY things I didn't get to see before moving all the way in. Including a disgusting hole under the counter in the sink that my husband and I won't even look at. Inside the dishwasher was also absolutely disgusting, and I had to clean that myself.
Great people to work with!! They take care of all real estate needs!
