I saw Dr. Pearson a few days ago and was extremely disappointed in the way I was treated. I was referred to her due to my Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which has left me on SSDI. She suggested yoga classes after she diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. I am unable to afford a routine of yoga sessions but did stretches at home. When I returned for my second appt 6 weeks later, she said I should do physical therapy. I explained I have gone through almost 10 years off and on already and it always made me feel worse. She argued with me and said that if I was unwilling to spend money on physical therapy or yoga that getting meds or shots won't work because they also cost money. Fair point but as the yoga and pt didn't resolve my pain, it was an insult to me. She got very stuck on the fact she felt I had fibro and ignored the fact I wasn't getting any pain relief in general. I never asked for meds and she treated me like a pill seeker. I just wanted a Dr. to understand where I was coming from. She completely failed. She was unwilling to discuss anything that didn't involve me spending lots of money. Meds and shots would be covered by my insurance so that didn't interest her. I absolutely would NOT recommend her as she felt 1 ingredient foods would resolve my pain issues. She obviously has no idea what thoracic outlet syndrome is. Very angry with the lack of care. The office also refused to run my secondary insurance which would have covered my copay.
I recommend Lisa for treatment of chronic pain. She is thorough, very good at what she does, and compassionate. The staff is very friendly and capable.

took over a month to get a hold of someone here i left 2 message aqnd constantly called to set up an appointment then today it took 3 calls called first time was put on hold then transfered then hung up on 2nd call was immediately hung up on and the third calll was told earliest opening would be january that was no help im in constant pain and apparently they thought i would wait till january i would nopt even schedule it seeing how it was a pain to even get an appointment
The staff is very professional and kind and I am treated with respect and dignity. I know it must be hard to work at a job, where pretty much, all you hear are people's complaints, but I am always treated with compassion.
VERY DISAPPOINTED! These people are SO unprofessional! I have never experienced anything like my experience with Metamorphosis Pain Management! From the type of music they play in there office (explicit rap music) to the "If you're not 1/2 hour EARLY for your appointment you will not be seen.....! Ridiculous! I had to wait months just to be seen then a joke of an appointment to then say i had to wait a couple months more to be treated and given the epidural for my herniated discs. Then trying to schedule my 2nd epidural and nobody calls you back. I then talked to the Manager and Dr., who apologized and promised to make it right by the follow-up day and now here it is 2 weeks later and STILL haven't heard from anyone! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Do these people know what severe pain is??? We are desperate for relief and they think it's not a problem to make people wait months for any kind of relief. I'm completely shocked by everything this office is about!
Anytime type of problem or problem that can and will she does her best to work us thru it
