Great breakfast! The Green Chili is exceptional! So exceptional, that on our trip (from MN) this year we added a stop here just so we could have Mr. Ed's Burrito smothered in green chili for breakfast. Yes, it's that good!
Great green chili and good service! 4 stars only because sometimes it does feel like the restaurant at a retirement home--since the majority of the customers are elders. But, hey, they know a good deal. ;)
We go out of our way to enjoy the wonderful food and friendly service. Very economical prices and the pies are homemade and very delicious. Green Chile is soooo good. They have been a Canon City tradition for many decades and still going strong.
Historic, classic diner. Has the usual diner fare (day I was there the special was meatloaf). Friendly waitresses, old school vibe. Been there twice, good both times.
