A great mom and pop burger place! The owner has been running this place for a long time and they have it down. Try their specialty shakes they are great! Avoid coming during the lunch rush because everyone in town knows that this is the best burger place so they all show up.
I almost didn't review this place because I want to keep it to myself (and all the Cañon City residents who love it). But they deserve a 5-star review. Great burgers, great service, great everything else, and it really is like stepping back in time to a real burger place.
Everyone loves this place. They serve gigantic burgers of a curiously large variety of creative recipes (toppings). Best fast food in canyon, diner like menu with vast varieties plus lots of ice cream desserts. They also do BBQ on the weekends. I say fast food but it's all made to order and always has a huge line, so you do have to wait; but it's worth it...
This is a great little bbq and burger joint hidden away off the main roads. Dirt parking lot and outdoor only seating give it a backyard like feel. The food is amazing and so are the shakes. My volleyball team enjoyed all of it.
Always the best giant burgers. The gringo burger is my favorite. It has green Chili's on it, and the right ratio of meat to bun to topping. Their shakes are worth a visit all to themselves. There's the usual flavors: chocolate, vanilla, etc. Then, there's the specialities: Berry Berry, Ladybug- chocolate cherry. Basics: Counter ordering, outdoor seating only, parking lot is dirt and usually crowded, but worth it! Love love this place.
