The good: The initial service and consultation was good 4/5. The sampling in store was good 4/5 the sample was moist, richly flavorful and left a person to want more.
The good Cake looked pretty good.
I was very disappointed in the cake that was served at Owen and Kaylene Canterbury's wedding made by Sweet Cheek's Cakery. The cakes didn't have much taste to them and one was so dry and crumbly it was sad. Would never use them.
Would not recommend to anyone 900 dollars what a waste of money!
The bad: -5/+5 The bad definitely out weighs the good. The design was as specified during the consultation BUT it was leaning to one side and it was damaged in the back. The cake itself was dry, crumbly and had little to no flavor. The fondant that was tabbed about during consultation was purely disgusting. It was tough (the bride couldn't even bite through it as her groom fed her) and so thick in places that it couldn't be cut with a knife. I could never in good conscious recommend this bakery.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. August 20th I had my wedding cake deliver for the day of my wedding. The writting had smudged leaving a horrible black smear on the cake which she could not fix. The cake was rock hard and sooo difficult to cut through that we had to get a huge bread knife to cut the cake..... it remained rock hard and the cake crumbled apart as we were cutting it. It was extremely overpriced for the quality. Liked nothing like the design and I am truly unhappy and would NEVER recommend.
The bad the cake had 3/8 of an inch of fondant on it which was not edible. The cake was so dry it crumbled. The red velvet tasted like white cake dyed red. All in all worst cake I have ever eaten. You can get a better cake at Costco.
