i didn't find any of the staff very friendly. what most people don't realize is that the parking lot in front of Hedley does not belong to the Abbey yet staff from the Abby will come out there and try to run you off when it's not even their property. in dealing with the administration. always felt like I had to walk on eggshells, they all had menopausal attitudes.
Went for the balloon festival. There was great music and vendors. The lady working at the gift shop was really friendly and hilarious.
The grounds are beautiful and even though it is independently owned there is still a faith based gift shop on location. Tours are available but call to find times. The grounds are used for many activities and attractions through the year. A car show, a hot air balloon festival, and a wine festival and tasting at the vineyard are among them. Or simply stop by and walk the serene grounds.
Absolutely beautiful! The winery is fun to visit. They offer tastes of the wines to make sure your happy with your selection.
Amazing place and so beautiful well worth a trip and if your in search for a beautiful scenic place for a wedding this is a must!
