Beautiful views, nice photo opportunities and a great gondola ride. I understand that it costs a lot of money to run the place, but entrance fees were too high for what it was. Worth one visit to cross off your list, but I don't think we will come back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Decent kids playground as well.

For solely that reason I have to knock it down 3 stars because they should have competent people working there and not to give a lame excuse and I think that no re flight policy is extremely ridiculous if a video isn't taken. It basically means that they are covered even if the employee is lazy!

Pros: bathrooms everywhere, kid area, view of canyon

Came here right when it opened at 8AM because we made our way from Utah the night before. So we went to the bridge and it was pretty cheap. It was $22 for all three of us without the gondola because we had time to kill before the skyline flyer opened up. We took a couple of shots on the bridge as it was really open and no one was there. This was on 10/6/17.

I have no idea why there are so many positive reviews. I should mention we went on Labor Day weekend , so it may have been busier than normal. This place doesn't seem like it was built for large crowds. This is a major tourist trap!! We started out by waiting in line for the women's restroom for 20 minutes. Then we waited a good 10-15 minutes just to buy our ticket! It cost $50 for my husband and I to get in. Outrageously overpriced! The lines were so unorganized and there were no signs to direct us...we couldn't even tell where a line started! I was not impressed with the layout for strollers. Not stroller friendly at all. They have some ramps, but you go down it and then there's stairs! Most of the ramps are out of the way. So inconvenient. To get on the gondola there is no ramp at all...we had to pick the stroller up to get it up the stairs. Food and water is terribly overpriced. If you get motion sickness easily, the bridge is not very fun. From the moment we stepped on I started getting sick. I could barely enjoy the view because I needed to get off before barfing. There is a kids area that has a free carousel Ride, a little playground (must be 5 years old to play) and a water pad. We waited in line for the gondola for at least 30 minutes. Then the ride was only 5 minutes long. Pretty views, kind of cool, but overall I could have lived without this expensive trip.

I crossed the Royal Gorge Bridge with family on vacation 40 years ago, before it was turned into a park and fees were charged. This location is now very pricey. If you just want to see the canyon there are other locations, but to cross the bridge you will have to pay $20 or more depending on age. We walked in and enjoyed the American Indian dancers. We headed for the bridge then made it half way across and turned around and hiked back.... which is all uphill ....so... if you are not in very good shape you can go by golf cart trolley across and back. Native American Indians were entertaining the crowd and this was about all the entertainment we saw for our $26.00 a piece. I am glad to have my curiosity taken care of and don't feel the need to return for the price of the ticket. There is a gift shop and concessions also.

There was no snack areas open even though it was 10am. We went on the skyline flyer and the wait capacity is 250 max so sorry tall body builders, you can't go on. The package is $65 for both the zip line and the skyline flyer. Pretty good deal in my opinion. The flyer is best with two people because you get more momentum and therefore more pendulum swings. The video and pictures are $30/40 bucks as a separate fee. It's expensive but hey why not?

I'm sure this is a nice place to go during peak season, but the day we went three were no activities and hardly anywhere to even get a drink. We paid entirely too much to take the tram over the gulch and then walk back across the bridge. There is a short video that talks about the park, but it focuses more on the rebuilding after a major forest fire in the area. I HIGHLY recommend that the park charge a reduced rate when there are no bands or other attractions going on.

We got that done and started the zip line and this is the real reason why I had to take 3 stars away. The first zip line went great and the first person of our party got his pictures and videos. Now before I continue, there is a sign that says video is not guaranteed so there are no re-flights issued. Okay that's understandable if the system is down. Now the second person comes from a party on the zip line and then a couple comes right after.

So we talk to the person which is a girl that is in charge of pictures and it's literally pressing a button. That's it. No she was able to get the video and picture of the first person and somehow skipped the second person but got the couple right after??? That meant she was not paying attention at all and then she tried to cover it up with "technical" difficulties. If it was then no one would have got their pictures at all. She gave us a lame half meant apology and basically told us we are screwed. No one was there to do anything and I felt like we spent extra $15 bucks for no reason.

Really bad business practice to not do everything you can to make your a customers happy especially when it's the fault of the company
